COLLEGE -- education or business

College !!! It means education. Its traditional meaning exist today???

I doubt so. Kathmandu, in current scenario college means strictly business. Educational sector has been commercialized. Is this right?? Indeed, a big question.

Half, the column of newspaper filled with college advertisement, these figures, below, are of no surprise. I  bet, take a walk, you will be surprised to see so many colleges.

Admission Open!! Admission Open!!
Everywhere, in this competition, are students benefited?? Investors, are earning good money. With infrastructures, new facilities, new courses, investors are luring students.

Government, has phase out PCL level making higher education difficult for the poor students. In average, Rs 1500 was enough for 1 whole year, at PCl. But, how those students can pay Rs 30,000 for +2, education for a single year

In this case, Government irresponsibility can be seen from its unjustified decision to phase out PCL. Government should realise its responsibility, and introduce a effective planning for the poor students as well, for their higher education after SLC.

In competition of colleges, quality education is being provided or not?? Authority must answer this question.
